ILOILO City – A farmer accidentally touched a live wire on a fence in Barangay Cayus, Pilar, Capiz. He got electrocuted and died.

Rogerlio Golingan was a 35-year-old resident of Barangay Dayhagan, Pilar. He was walking home on Sunday morning when he accidentally tripped himself.

He accidentally touched the live wire on the fence of a certain Fernando Patricio, police said.

Golingan (not Goling as reported yesterday) had burns on his right hand and right armpit./PN
