BACOLOD City – Police arrested a rape suspect in Barangay Mabunao, Bais City, Negros Oriental.

Chief Inspector Judy Mar Bonilla, officer-in-charge of the Bais City police station, identified the suspect only as “Arsenio.”

Members of the Bais City police station Intelligence Unit led by Police Officer 2 Marlou Ragay caught Arsenio around 11:15 a.m. on Jan. 18 on the strength of a warrant that Judge Candelario Guillermo Villegas of Regional Trial Court Branch 45 in Bais City issued on May 16, 2016.

Arsenio was detained at the Bais City police station lockup facility.

No bail bond was recommended for Arsenio’s temporary liberty./PN
