ILOILO City – A motorcycle-riding man died while his back rider was injured in a vehicular accident in Barangay Tacas, Jaro district here.
Forty-year-old Francisco Lasconia of Barangay Pandac, Pavia, Iloilo died of fatal head injuries.
Twenty-six-year-old back rider Mamerto Capiliza of Barangay Lanag, Leon, Iloilo survived but sustained cuts and bruises.
According to the police, the two men were headed to Barangay Ungka, Jaro around 12:50 a.m. on July 3 when their vehicle plunged into a canal./PN
