BACOLOD City – A 49-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle crashed against another motorcycle around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday in Sitio Tongog-tongogan, Barangay 1 in Hinobaan town.
Felipe Tonika De Jose, a resident of Purok 3, Barangay 1 in the town, sustained fatal head and body injuries.
He was rushed to Don Eleuterio Decena Hospital but was declared dead around 6:10 p.m. on the same day.
Police Senior Inspector Joemel Gonzaga said the victim was driving his Rusi 100 motorcycle travelling from Barangay Bacuyangan to the town proper when he was hit by a Raider 150 driven by Jade Sarona, 25, of Barangay 1 also in the town.
Sarona was also on his way to the town proper when the incident happened. He is currently confined for treatment at a hospital in this city./PN
