BACOLOD City – A public utility jeepney (PUJ) driver was injured after he was stabbed on Sunday in Barangay Banago here.
The 58-year-old Roldofo Sablan, a resident of Barangay Handumanan, was driving his PUJ plying the Banago-Libertad route when he stopped in front of a store to buy cigarettes.
Archun Delprado of Barangay Banago approached him and stabbed him for unknown reasons, police said.
Sablan sustained stab wounds on his left arm, palm and leg and was brought to Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment.
Delprado is still at large as of this writing./PN
