ILOILO City – A newly identified drug pushing suspect yielded 10 sachets of shabu in Barangay San Juan, Molo district.

The 20-year-old Anthony Dela Cruz was subjected to a buy-bust operation around 10:30 p.m. on Friday.

An undercover police officer initially bought from the suspect a sachet of shabu for P500.

Nine more sachets were found in Dela Cruz’s possession. He was taken to the Molo police station.

Dela Cruz faces a charge for illegal drug possession and peddling, acts that violated the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

According to the Molo police, the suspect was new in their list of suspected drug personalities./PN
