ILOILO City ā Eleven sachets of shabu were seized in a buy-bust operation yesterday in Barangay Santo NiƱo, San Miguel, Iloilo.
The suspect, 22-year-old Joel Rey Blanco of Barangay Talongandian, Santa Barbara town, was arrested.
Blanco sold a sachet of shabu to undercover officers for P500. He yielded 10 more sachets when frisked, a police report showed.
A Cherry Mobile cellphone, P340 cash, a belt bag, and a disposable lighter were further recovered from him.
Blanco was taken to the San Miguel police station where he was detained after his arrest around 8 a.m.
Operatives from the San Miguel police station and the Iloilo Police Provincial Officeās Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit staged the operation./PN
