110 Dumalag drug surrenderers complete recovery program

ROXAS City – A total of 110 drug surrenderers in Dumalag, Capiz on Monday have graduated from the Community Based Rehabilitation Program (CBRP) undertaken by the municipal government.

Dumalag police station chief Captain Pedro Goldino Diocson said that aside from those who completed the program, around 13 more surrenderers are also scheduled to complete their course.

“The CBRP graduation is spearheaded by the Rural Health unit and our role here is to facilitate,” Diocson told Panay News.

Diocson added during the training program, drug surrenderers have undergone training on carpentry, welding and other skilled works administered by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority.

Present during the event were Capiz police director Lieutenant Colonel Canilo Fuentes, municipal government operation officer Arvin Villareal and Municipal Health officer Dr. Anna Mae Belasoto./PN
