BACOLOD City – Fourteen sachets of suspected shabu were seized in an antidrug operation in Barangay Mansilingan.
Police identified the suspects as 31-year-old Rodolfo Magbanua and 36-year-old James Ong.
Magbanua and Ong – residents of Barangay Vista Alegre – were nabbed around 4 p.m. on July 11, a police report showed.
When frisked, the suspects yielded P1,950 cash, a tactical knife, a digital weighing scale, and cellphones. Police impounded their motorcycle too, the report added.
They were detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 7, facing charges for illegal possession of deadly weapon and violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
