ILOILO City – Police arrested two men in an antidrug operation in Barangay Benedicto, Jaro.
Rodney Tabor, 35, and Eliseo Bandiola, 43, both residents of Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro, were detained at the district police station.
Their suspected accomplice, whom police identified as 35-year-old Jeffrey Ysulan, escaped.
A poseur-buyer bought a sachet of shabu from Tabor and Bandiola around 6:30 a.m. on Sept. 1, a police report showed.
They tried to resist when police were about to handcuff them, but to no avail.
Ysulan remains at large as of this writing.
In Barangay Balabag, Malay, Aklan, a 19-year-old was arrested also for allegedly selling prohibited drugs.
