ILOILO City – A hand grenade, a .45-caliber pistol and ammunition were seized from a nipa hut in Barangay San Antonio, San Miguel, Iloilo.
The owner, 34-year-old Michael Lagura, was arrested.
A resident of Barangay Buyo, Santa Barbara town, Lagura was detained at the San Miguel police station.
Aside from illegal possessing the explosive, Lagura did not have a license to possess the firearm and ammunition, police said.
Police searched his nipa hut on Sept. 1 on the strength of a court-issued warrant./PN
