ILOILO City – Two suspected drug dealers were arrested in a police operation yesterday at Empress Palace pension house in Barangay Benedicto, Jaro district.

Alfred Mojica, 32, of Barangay Mandog, Maasin, Iloilo and Mon Carl Alarde, 23, of Barangay Caingin, La Paz district were detained at the Jaro police station.

They sold to a poseur buyer a sachet of shabu for P1,100 at around 1:30 a.m., a police report showed.

A sachet of shabu, three disposable lighters, rolled aluminum foil, and a bundle of empty plastic sachets were seized from Mojica. Alarde, on the other hand, yielded another sachet of shabu, police said./PN
