ILOILO City – A woman from Lapuz district accused another of “defaming” her, a police report showed.
Jennivive Petero, 39, of Barangay Jalandoni Estate did not know why her neighbor – identified only as “Muray” Hablero – bad-mouthed her in public.
Petero was at the seaport in Lapuz when Hablero yelled at her, “Alpot ka! Bigaon ka! Adik ka! Baylo bangâ! Adik,” the police report stated.
The subject of the complaint cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Police said the incident happened at around 6 p.m. on Sept. 8.
Petero told the police she was embarrassed. The police referred the case to the barangay lupon./PN
