ILOILO City – Two drug pushing suspects were arrested separately in Capiz province yesterday.

The 35-year-old Reyjen Villanueva was a resident of Barangay Pantalan, President Roxas, Capiz while 23-year-old Zandro Salcedo was from Barangay Libas, Roxas City.

Villanueva was first to fall. Around 2:50 p.m. in Barangay Poblacion, President Roxas he sold a sachet of shabu to a buyer that turned out to be a policeman.

Five hours after, Salcedo was caught in Barangay Agbanban, Panay, Capiz.

An undercover police officer confiscated from Salcedo four sachets of shabu.

Villanueva and Salcedo face separate charges for illegal drug peddling and possession – acts outlawed by the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
