ILOILO City – Two estafa suspects have been arrested in Iloilo and Antique provinces.

Virginia Bacabac, 65, of Barangay Balabago, San Joaquin, Iloilo was caught in the same village.

She would have been spared from detention but the court forfeited her bail when she failed to attend the hearing despite getting notices, a police report showed.

Regional Trial Court Branch 31 Judge Ma. Yolanda M. Panaguiton-Gavino issued the arrest warrant the police served Bacabac on Monday.

Bacabac was detained at the San Joaquin police station.

On the same day Danilo Tamba, 57, was arrested in Barangay Bitadton Sur, Culasi, Antique.

A resident of the same village, Tamba was detained at the municipal police station.

Municipal Trial Court (La Carlota City) Judge Danilo Tenerife issued the warrant of arrest against him and set the bail at P16,000./PN
