ILOILO City – Two persons were wounded after an altercation led to a stabbing in Barangay Ed Ganzon, City Proper.
Police identified the victims as 23-year-old Hananiah Fegarido of Barangay Divinagrancia, La Paz district and 21-year-old Louie John Billones of Barangay Sooc, Arevalo district.
Hayacynth Tanaleon, 21, of Geneal Hughes, City Proper was tagged as the suspect.
Police investigators said Tanaleon was in an argument with Fegarido when the stabbing happened around 10 a.m. on Sept. 28.
Billones tried to pacify but Tanaleon also stabbed the former using a broken bottle.
The victims sustained bruises and lacerated wounds on the body. They already received treatment.
Tanaleon, meanwhile, was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 1, facing charges./PN
