BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested in a drug bust on Wednesday afternoon in Purok Ipil-Ipil, Barangay Vito, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Police Chief Inspector Eduardo Corpuz identified the suspects as Benvienido āBobongā Esperancilla Jr., 56, a resident of the barangay; and Michael Leyva Gatchalian, 28, a native of Antipolo City.
Esperancilla yielded four sachets of suspected shabu while Gatchalian yielded one small sachet.
Corpuz said the suspects already surrendered during the Oplan Tokhang campaign in July./PN
