BACOLOD City – Firearms were seized from two men in Negros Island.
In Vallehermoso, Negros Oriental, LG Bakeshop owner Leonides Tetano, 33, yielded a .45 pistol, a magazine and seven live bullets.
Criminal Investigation and Detection Group operatives raided Tetano’s house in Barangay Poblacion on Monday on the strength of a search warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 64 (Guihulngan City) Judge Mario Otoridad.
Also on Monday, Police Station 6 operatives confiscated an improvised (sulpak) 12-gauge shotgun and a live bullet from Yankee Ledesma, 30, of Purok Bagong Buhay, Barangay 30 in this capital city.
The officers were responding to a report that Ledesma indiscriminately fired his gun./PN
