BACOLOD City – Two illegal drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Pueblo San Roque, Barangay Gargato, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.
Police identified them Juanito “Bokie” Diamante, 29, of the same village and Alejandro “Janjan” Dionio, 24, of Sitio Paugalingon, Barangay Nanunga, Hinigaran.
Officers caught them at around 7:50 p.m. last Friday.
Considered by the local police as “high-value targets” in the campaign against illegal drugs, the suspects were detained at the municipal police station.
Police said Diamante was a drug surrenderer who turned himself in on June 30, 2016.
Four plastic packs of suspected shabu worth P3,000, drug paraphernalia, P70 cash, a cellphone, and a black Rusi 125 motorcycle with sidecar were seized from the suspects, said Chief Inspector Jake Barilla, municipal police head.
Dionio further yielded P340 cash, a black cellphone and a disposable lighter, said Barilla./PN
