2 Panay children nearly abducted?

CAPIZ – Two children aged six and seven years old claimed they were almost abducted in Barangay Tanza Dulonan, Panay town around 7 p.m. on Dec. 2 but managed to flee.

The two children – a boy and a girl – were cousins.

If the boy were to be believed, a white van stopped near them, a man came out, cajoled them to go with him to a fast food chain and suddenly attempted to pull him toward the van.

However, according to the boy, he bit the man’s hand and got the chance to run away with his girl cousin.

They immediately alerted their parents.

The parents contacted the Panay police station, which in turned launched an investigation. Security cameras in the area where the supposed failed abduction took place were reviewed. But no white van was recorded by the cameras.

Also, some nearby residents claimed not seeing any white van passing through their village during the time of the supposed failed abduction./PN
