ILOILO City – Two illegal drug suspects were arrested in separate operations in Mina and Pototan towns in Iloilo province.
The operations led to the confiscation of a total of 21 sachets of shabu, police reports showed.
In Barangay Talibong Grande, Mina, the 34-year-old Garry Pastolero sold a sachet of shabu to a police poseur buyer for P500 around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police further seized from the resident of Barangay Naumuan, Mina five sachets of the same substance and P1,989 including the buy-bust money.
Pastolero was detained at the Mina police station.
More than three hours later, around 7:45 p.m., 15 sachets of shabu were seized from resident Rizalino Tigullo Jr. in Barangay San Jose Ward, Pototan.
Two mobile phones and drug paraphernalia were further seized from the 30-year-old suspect, who was detained at the Pototan police station./PN
