ILOILO City – Policemen caught three fishermen in Barangay Asluman, Carles, Iloilo for illegal fishing.
On Saturday, t he following were detained at the Carles police station:
* Jorlan Magdadaro, 32
* Armafel Delos Reyes, 21, and
* John Mark Ugdang, 35.
Magdadaro and Delos Reyes were from Barangay Lantangan, Carles. Ugdang, on the other hand, was from Barangay Poblacion, Estancia town.
The police caught the three around 3 p.m. catching fish using dynamites.
The cops impounded the suspects’ motorboat containing dynamites and other fishing contraptions.
The three fishermen face a charge for violating the country’s fisheries code./PN
