ILOILO City – Three suspected bet collectors of the illegal numbers game “bookies” have been arrested in Pototan, Iloilo.
Detained at the municipal police station were:
* Arnulfo Abillo, 41, of Barangay Dapitan, Pototan
* Regina Misada, 43, of Barangay Malusgod, Pototan
* Ralp Jennie Remabira, 31, of the same village
Police arrested Abillo in Barangay Batuan, Pototan at around 2:45 p.m. Friday.
Minutes later, Misada and Remabira were caught in Barangay Malusgod.
Recovered from the suspects were a total of P1,600 worth of bet money and numbers game paraphernalia.
