ILOILO City – Police arrested three suspected drug dealers in two separate operations on Monday evening.
Facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were:
* Jhone Khenard De Jeron, 18, of Barangay Desamparados, Jaro, district
* May Flor Dela Cruz, 33, of the same village
* Roland Romualdo, 31, of Barangay Loboc, Lapuz
De Jeron and Dela Cruz were arrested in Barangay Democracia, Jaro at around 9 p.m., a police report showed.
They sold to an undercover officer a sachet of shabu for P600.
Seven more sachets of the same substance were recovered from them.
Both were detained in the custodial facility of the Jaro police station.
Two hours later Romualdo was caught in Barangay Mansaya, Lapuz.
Four plastic packs of shabu were seized from him – on top of one sachet he sold to an undercover officer for P600, said the police.
