ILOILO City – Three people were accused of stealing from a mall in Jaro district.
One of them was the 18-year-old Ernie John Pacalden of Zone 1, Barangay MH del Pilar, Jaro. The other two were minors.
Robinsons Place Jaro security guard Roman Buenafe arrested them at around 8:55 p.m. on Nov. 29, a police report showed.
The three took five pieces of Freshgear polo shirts worth P899.75 each without paying for them, police said.
They placed the items inside a Porter and an EJP brand backpacks, which they allegedly shoplifted as well, said the police.
Buenafe asked them for receipts but they failed to present any.
Pacalden was detained at the Jaro police station custodial facility.
