BACOLOD City – Police caught three men engaging in illegal gambling in Barangay 2.
They were residents Romeo Imperial, Rommy Domdom and Rodel Bactol, police said.
Operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office’s (BCPO) Mobile Force Company chanced upon them playing an illegal numbers game cara y cruz on Dec. 5.
Recovered the suspect’s possession were bet money which amounted to P121 and gambling paraphernalia, a police report showed.
The suspects were now under the custody of the BCPO, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602, which prescribes stiffer penalties on illegal gambling./PN
