ILOILO City – In Barangay Kasing-kasing, Molo district, a resident was mauled by three men he had an altercation with, a police report showed.

Construction worker Reymar Yanson, 20, told the police he sustained scratches as a result of the attack.

Yanson identified his alleged attackers as RJ Estrella, Joseph Gerona and Ranelo Reballos – all in their 30s and residents of Barangay San Antonio, Molo – stated the police report.

Yanson told the Molo police station that he was walking on a sidewalk in their village with relative Walter Castro at around 10 p.m. on March 17 when the suspects, on board a motorcycle, pulled over near them.

After an altercation, the three men ganged up on him and fled toward an unknown direction, the complainant claimed.

The supposed attackers cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.

Police referred the incident to the barangay lupon./PN
