ILOILO City – Two men were caught in possession of deadly weapons at Premier de Mayo in Barangay IX, Roxas City.
Officers arrested Roger Jimenez, 24, of Barangay Switch, Tapaz, Capiz and Antonio Beldia, 29, of San Roque Street, Barangay Inzo Arnaldo, Roxas City, a police report showed.
A .38 pistol loaded with two bullets, an improvised pen gun and a kitchen knife were seized from them.
The Roxas City police station took them in custody after their arrest at around 2:44 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police said the men were facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
