ILOILO City – In Barangay Legaspi, City Proper, two pairs of brothers were arrested after a rumble, a police report showed.
A woman was injured in the incident, police said.
Detained at Police Station 1 were Leo Gaite, 24, and Akheem Gaite, 20; and Rodine Nagagor, 28, and Rodney Nagagor, 28.
A fistfight ensued among them at around 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 27, the police report showed.
Akheem Gaite struck Rodine Nagagor with an iron pipe but missed, hitting Grace Nagagor, 30, as a result. Grace Nagagor sustained swelling on her right jaw, police said.
Barangay Kagawad Greg Espinosa and responding officers arrested the brothers in the rumble and hauled them to the Police Station 1 lockup cell./PN
