ILOILO City – The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) awarded medals to deserving police officers at Camp Delgado.
The following were given Medalya ng Kagalingan (Medal of Merit) on Nov. 21:
* Superintendent Luther Lugo III
* Senior Inspector Efren Yu-ing
* Police Officer 3 Alnie de Leon, and
* Police Officer 1 Ryan Jabatan.
The four were members of the Roxas City police station. They arrested drug suspects Antonio Eduardo Jr. alias “Panjun”, Rena Mae Lanes alias “Toto” and John Erick Azares alias “Jan2” on Nov. 9, 2016 at Angel Ville, Barangay San Jose, Roxas City for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Chief Superintendent Jose Gentiles, regional police director, handed the medals to the policemen.
The arrested drug suspects, meanwhile, were charged with illegal possession and peddling./PN
