BACOLOD City – Six persons were arrested for illegal gambling in Barangay Calumangan, Bago City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
They were the 54-year-old Andres Mondejar, 43-year-old Manuel Dahuya, 22-year-old Carlo Buscado, 40-year-old Leo Dahuya, 30-year-old Mark Biadong, and 53-year-old Elsie Lobrido – all residents of Barangay Calumangan.
They were caught playing bug-oy on Sept. 11, police said.
Two of their companions – an alias “Bungol” and “Ian” – managed to evade arrest.
Sea shells used in the game and P180 gambling money were recovered.
