BACOLOD City – An illegal drug buy-bust operation in Purok 3, Barangay Saraet, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental led to the arrest of a resident of Barangay Progreso, Binalbagan town.
The 39-year-old Jed Londres yielded five plastic packs of suspected shabu.
This was on top of the one he sold to an undercover officer for P300, said Chief Inspector Antonio Benitez Jr., Himamaylan City police head.
Three open plastic packs with traces of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia were seized from the suspect during the 8:40 p.m. operation on Monday.
Londres was detained in the Himamaylan City police station lockup cell. He was charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
