BACOLOD City – Six sachets of suspected shabu were seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 1 Poblacion, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
The 41-year-old Jerry Diaz of Barangay Cubay, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental yielded the suspected illegal drugs valued around P6,000, a police report showed.
Diaz was nabbed after he sold suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500 around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Pontevedra municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
