ILOILO City – Apparently, drug trade happens even along the busy Sen. Benigno Aquino Jr. Avenue in Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district.
Six sachets of suspected shabu were seized from a resident of Project 1, Barangay Sooc, Mandurriao during a buy-bust operation at the thoroughfare more popularly known as Diversion Road, a police report showed.
The 25-year-old Rodlemar Bautista was arrested. He was facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Undercover police officers bought from the suspect the substance for P500 around 10:20 p.m. on Thursday, the police report stated.
