BACOLOD City – Seven suspects were caught in separate antidrug operations in Pontevedra town and Sagay, Victorias and Bago cities in Negros Occidental on Monday.

Three were arrested in Barangay II (Poblacion), Pontevedra around 3:40 p.m. — Mark Gayoba, 25, of Barangay III (Poblacion), and Wendy Meana, 36, and Joeme Sarasa, 36, of Barangay Miranda.

Pontevedra police station and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Negros Island Region operatives seized from them four plastic packs of suspected shabu, P500 cash, a digital weighing scale, and a cellphone.

Nabbed around 11 p.m. were in Barangay Rafaela Barrera, Sagay City were Jonel Tapi-on, 36, of the same village and Jake Cordova, 31, of Cadiz City.

They yielded eight plastic packs of suspected shabu, a mobile phone, P1,420 cash, and a Honda 125 motorcycle.

In Victorias City, Emmanuel Gustilo, 32, of Barangay III (Poblacion) was caught around 1:30 p.m. He yielded three plastic packs of suspected shabu worth P1,000 and P300 cash.

Police arrested the tricycle driver Marlon Jorban, 35, of Barangay Balingasag, Bago City around 6:55 p.m. Four plastic packs of suspected shabu worth P1,500, a cellphone, P133 cash, and a Bajaj motorcycle were seized from him.
