BACOLOD City – Seven people were arrested in a buy-bust operation on Wednesday in Barangay Miranda, Pontevedra town.
The joint operation of the Pontevedra Police Station, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Regional Intelligence Unit of Police Regional Office-18 led to the arrest of Josel Montalban, 50; Joefe Pausa, 26; Jairo Montalban, 36; Jetur Montalban, 32; Felix Pausa, 54; Marlon Rafil, 39; and Mitchele, 42, all residents of the barangay.
Several sachets of suspected shabu; P1,250 cash amount; and other drug paraphernalia were recovered from the suspects.
They are now detained at Pontevedra Police Station./PN
