BACOLOD City – For alleged illegal gambling, nine residents were arrested in Barangay Progreso, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental.
They were Luz Moreno, Adelaida Esblaca, Susan Pameroyan, Cecilia Norbe, Roger Caalim, Jose Pameroyan, Vicente Gellisania, Maila Roma, and Rosario Piorque, a police report showed.
The suspects were caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 9 a.m. on Aug. 10. They were taken to the Binalbagan police station.
A P30,000 bail bond each was recommended for their temporary liberty./PN
