ILOILO City – Ninety-four identified drug personalities in Barangay San Juan, Molo district took drug tests. Only one turned out positive for illegal drug use.
According to Barangay Captain Juan Icolohado, the results showed these personalities – except for one – have “changed.”
But the monitoring of these personalities will continue, said Icolohado.
He also said the one who tested positive for drug use will be recommended for rehabilitation.
The drug tests were facilitated by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
According to Inspector Marlon Valencia, Molo police chief, the drug personalities were cooperative and submitted urine samples.
They were convinced to take the drug test through house-to-house visits, said Valencia.
“Kabudlay man kun puro lang ta tokhang, puro lang ta dakpanay,” he said./PN
