BACOLOD City – Two men were arrested in a police antidrug operation in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Maundy Thursday.
The 26-year-old Rammy “Bronse” Castro of Purok 1, Barangay Cabanbanan, Himamaylan City and the 37-year-old Aaron Borja of Sitio Mangga of the same village were hauled to the city police station.
Castro sold to an undercover officer a plastic pack of suspected shabu for P500 around 10:15 a.m. He further yielded a pair of scissors, rolled aluminum foil and a cell phone.
Officers also searched Borja, who was at the operation, and seized from him another plastic pack of suspected shabu.
Castro and Borja are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (With Cyrus Garde/PN)
