ILOILO City – Policemen of Passi City were hunting for a resident of Barangay Tagubong who hacked his brother with a bolo on Saturday night.
John De Madate fled after attacking younger brother Marlon, 28, police said.
The hacking happened inside the brothers’ house.
Marlon came home drunk around 7:30 p.m. and was unruly. Mother Ma. Rita and John tried to calm him down.
The elder brother, however lost his patience, got a bolo and hacked Marlon on the left shoulder, police said.
When he fled, the elder De Madate brought with him the bolo.
Marlon was confined at the Iloilo Provincial Hospital in Pototan, Iloilo./PN
