BACOLOD City – Two suspected vehicle thieves were arrested and detained at Police Station 1.
Ariel Caravalle, 23, of Barangay 11 and Shan Jamir Imperio, 26, of Barangay Pahanocoy were facing carnapping charges.
Caravalle was accused of stealing the car of Junel Pigao, 48, of Barangay Mandalagan on May 5. He was caught in Barangay 19.
Imperio, on the other hand, allegedly stole a motorcycle on Hernaez Street, Barangay 38, also on May 5.
Komel Vergara, 22, of Barangay Mansilingan owned the motorcycle.
Senior Inspector Eugene Tolentino, Police Station 1 chief, said both stolen vehicles have been returned to their respective owners./PN
