BACOLOD City – No, not the President.
Clinton Duterte, 24, of Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental was arrested in an illegal drug buy-bust operation in the village.
Police said he sold a plastic pack of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500 around 10:30 p.m. on May 6.
Two more plastic packs of similar substance, three open plastic packs with suspected shabu residue and drug paraphernalia were seized from him.
His live-in partner, Wall Borja, owned the house where he was arrested, said Chief Inspector Antonio Benitez Jr., Himamaylan City police station commander.
According to the police, Duterte was repacking drugs in the house while Borja assisted him in selling. Police have not arrested Borja.
The seized suspected prohibited drug was worth P1,500.
