ILOILO City – A farmer was stabbed in Barangay Agtatacay, Sapian, Capiz.
The 52-year-old Johnny Isiderio died of a stab wound in the abdomen on May 10.
Police identified the suspect as 25-year-old Nico Nuñez also of Barangay Agtatacay.
Both had an argument prior to the stabbing around 11 p.m., police said.
From what the police so far gathered, Nuñez was walking home but Isiderio block the former’s way for still unclear reasons and this sparked a verbal tussle.
Isiderio died at the Mambusao District Hospital.
Nuñez fled after the stabbing. His whereabouts remained unknown as of this writing./PN
