BACOLOD City – Southland College in Kabankala City was this year’s Battle of the Brains champion.
The competition’s final round was held at Robinsons Place Dumaguete on Tuesday where five schools battled for the championship trophy and the P30,000 cash prize.
Dr. Vicente F. Gustilo Memorial National High School in Cadiz City landed in second place followed by Bais City National High School and Negros Oriental High School which shared the third place.
Ramon Torres Malingin National High School – Atipuluan Extension was fourth.
The competition – spearheaded by the Energy Development Corp. (EDC) – started with 45 schools.
Guests Robi Domingo, EDC Negros Island Geothermal Business Unit head Joel Jay Soriano, Climate Reality country manager Rodne Galicha, and Foundation for Philippine Environment former president Paciencia Milan were present during the final round./PN
