GUIMARAS – Enhancing the capability of its police force to make the province safer is a major thrust of the Guimaras Police Provincial Office (GPPO).
It recently held an “investigators seminar-workshop” in Jordan town to boost the skills, abilities and knowledge of every municipal police investigators in probing crimes.
Gov. Samuel Gumarin was hopeful the training equipped police investigators with sufficient knowledge to expedite the crime-solving processes.
“Sang-una, tam-an ka-limited ang investigators sa bilog na Guimaras. Mahulam pa kami na kun diin naka-assign ang investigator sa aton probinsya,” he said.
At the workshop, Atty. Dennis Gabihan of the Police Regional Office 6’s (PRO-6) Regional Legal Service, lectured o Criminal Law Book 1 and 2.
Inspector Rico Sta. Ana of the GPPO, on the other hand, discussed traffic accident investigation.
