ILOILO City – An antidrug operation yesterday in Barangay Poblacion, Concepcion, Iloilo led to the arrest of a “newly identified” suspect.
The 34-year-old Ryan Abian of Barangay Plandico was hauled to the municipal police station custodial facility.
A sachet of suspected shabu was recovered from him on top of the one he sold to a poseur buyer for P200 at around 1:30 p.m., a police report showed.
From what the police have gathered, Abian was formerly detained at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City and released just last year, said Chief Inspector Abner Trancoso, Concepcion police officer-in-charge.
Abian is facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
