ILOILO City – A man and his son were clueless as to why three men ganged up on them.
Victorio Pelago Sr. and son Victorio Jr. were binge drinking at the Central Market along Iznart Street, City Proper when three unidentified men approached them, a police report showed.
Pelago Sr. told the police the men punched him on the face several times while one of them struck his son with a glass bottle.
Pelago Sr. was left with a swollen left face while his son was wounded on the forehead.
Iloilo City Emergency Response team personnel applied first-aid treatment on them and advised them to get themselves checked by a physician.
Both victims were residents of Barangay Rizal Ibarra, City Proper.
The incident happened at around 9 p.m. on Sept. 23.
Police were still trying to identify and catch the suspects as of this writing./PN
