ILOILO City – A woman and her minor daughter were caught in a drug buy-bust operation yesterday in Barangay Desamparados, Jaro district.
Gilca Atadero and Nene (not her real name) were taken to the Jaro police station.
Their two companions – Rene Jan Cajamic and Shaira Grace Obapial – were arrested, too.
Eleven sachets of shabu were seized from them, including the one they sold to an undercover officer for P500. They also yielded P4,600 cash, police said.
Officers from the Jaro police station and the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit of the Police Regional Office 6 staged the operation at around 9:48 a.m./PN
