ILOILO City – Five sachets of shabu were seized from a suspected drug peddler in Barangay Lagubang, Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.
Resident Jose Rodriguez, 27, was taken to the municipal police station where he was detained after his arrest at around 5:10 p.m. on Wednesday.
Rodriguez already turned himself in to the police last year as part of Oplan Double Barrel.
While he claimed he was just using prohibited drugs, police said their monitoring showed the suspect was also engaged in drug trade.
Rodriguez yielded four sachets of shabu on top of the one he sold to an undercover officer for P300, a police report showed./PN
