ILOILO City – Whoever took them must’ve been really thirsty.
Cases of beer and energy drink were believed stolen from a store in Barangay Jereos, La Paz district, a police report showed.
Those taken included two cases of Cobra energy drink (worth P222 each, or a total of P444) and one case of Colt 45 beer (P338).
Nelma Latoza discovered the burglary at around 6 a.m. on Sept. 20 yet but reported it to the police only on Oct. 30, the police report stated.
Latoza tagged a neighbor as suspect – a certain “Din-Din” Guirhem – police said.
The neighbor cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Police referred the case to the barangay lupon. (Kevin Ron de Leon, Intern/PN)
